Services

    * We prepare and finish the logs on new projects.
    * Restore and maintain the logs on existing structures of any size.
    * Projects successfully completed range from 1800 sq. ft. to 15,120 sq. ft.

Weathered surface coatings can usually be refurbished. Alternatively we can completely strip old and failed surface coatings.

Methods Used

Multi-Media Blasting:
A coating removal system that combines high volume compressed air with crushed walnut shells or corn cobs. The low mass and high velocity of the grit striking the surface removes the coating with a minimum amount of damage to the wood.

Chemical Stripping:
When you apply a material of a semi-paste consistency by brush to logs. Potassium hydroxide or methylene chloride. Bring to a finish with a pressure washer.

Hot and Cold Water Pressure Washing:
Wet down with water and apply by hand, spray a flood coat of TSP, Tri-Sodium Phosphate, scrub aggressively with a bristle brush and bring to a finish with a pressure washer.

Power Log Sanding:
When you sand the surfaces of the logs using air or electric tools in combination with various grades of sand paper to remove resins, dirt and debris.

Log End Grinding:
An essential but sometimes overlooked part of the preparation system. Where you are using air of
electric tools in combination with discs to grind the log ends.
